About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Specialist to join our People and Wellbeing team. Reporting to the Head of Learning, Leadership and Professional Development, you will be responsible for collaborating with the business to identify any skill gaps to develop and implement workforce training solutions in line with organisational needs and compliance requirements.

Duties include:

• Development and implementation of high-quality blended training solutions across the organisation’s operational functions, ensuring that it is fit for purpose and delivered to achieve successful, progressive skill development and cost efficiencies.
• Lead the design and implementation of learning and professional development initiatives, policies, strategies and projects to build capability across the organisation, considering the diversity of work environments and learner needs.
• Ensure that learning experiences for all audiences, including Supported Employees, are learner centric, fit for purpose and delivered in appropriate modalities and channels.
• Provide services covering specific areas of learning and organisational development, including training needs analysis, training development and delivery, training vendor relationship management, training logistics, and other services.
• Apply knowledge of instructional design theory, adult learning theory and 70:20:10 learning model to create learning programs, resources and tools for the organisation.

About You

• Minimum 3 years in an organisational learning and development role.
• Demonstrated track record of the delivery of educational frameworks and solutions across complex service orientated organisations.
• Demonstrated ability to identify business learning needs and develop strategies, associated plans and blended learning solutions to meet all learning styles.
• Ability to design, develop, implement and embed high quality training solutions that are engaging, interactive and fun.
• Ability to use instructional design methodologies, adult learning theory and 70:20:10 learning model to create high quality training programs, resources, tools and workshop materials.
• Strong stakeholder relationship management skills.
• Excellent facilitation skills (face to face, hybrid and virtually)
• Certificate IV in training and assessment or equivalent industry qualification.
• Relevant experience in the disability, community, aged care, or health industry is highly regarded.
