We are seeking a Specialist Family Violence Practitioner to step into our Crisis Response and Brief Interventions team!
This role is an after hours role and is available on a permanent part-time basis at a SCHADS Level 4.4 - 5 pay point dependent on experience ($92,039.91 - $102,278.01 pro rata) superannuation + salary packaging.
The Crisis Response and Brief Interventions Program offers a specialist face-to-face response to victim survivors and their children who have recently experienced family violence and are residing in emergency accommodation in the Western Metropolitan or Brimbank Melton regions. The service operates 7 days per week 24-hours per day on weekends and public holidays.
As a Specialist Family Violence Practitioner, you will be required to work a range of shifts (weekdays 4.30pm-9.30pm and weekends 12pm – 8pm with an on call component outside of these hours). Saturday availability is essential for this role.
Reporting to the Crisis Response and Brief Interventions Team Leader you will be responsible for providing vital face-to-face and phone support for women and children who are currently experiencing family violence.
