- Location: Home-based, remote role, preference for the wider Asia-Pacific region
- Contract: 1 FTE, with flexibility for the right person
About Us
The building and construction sector accounts for a staggering 37 percent of global GHG emissions, and cooking is a major driver of new gas connections. Add to this that solid fuel and kerosene use for cooking leads to 3.2 million premature deaths from air pollution each year, and that gas still dominates cooking in OECD countries, and the pivotal role that cooking plays becomes clear—for our health and our climate.
The Global Cooksafe Coalition was formed to make cooking safe and affordable for everyone. We have already signed major partners, from property companies including Lendlease, GPT, and Grosvenor, to celebrity chefs including Neil Perry, Palisa Anderson, Simon Rogan, and Santiago Lastra.
About the Role
We now need a Global Director to manage GCC’s global growth strategy. This will include our expansion into the US and a plan for expanding the GCC beyond the OECD, as well as leadership on how to capitalise on the partnerships we have already developed in Australia, the EU, and the UK.

You are a natural leader and high-level conceptual thinker, comfortable with engaging C-Suite executives and high-profile talent across diverse sectors. You have delivered global strategies with impact, either in the corporate or not-for-profit space.
