This is a full-time, permanent position. Sydney based preferred, with consideration for applicants in Melbourne.
The Philanthropy Coordinator sits within our Fundraising and Technology department and is part of our High Value Team. The High Value Fundraising team works to attract new high value supporters and donors to Greenpeace Australia Pacific (GPAP) so that we can grow our people-powered movement and impact. As Greenpeace campaigns are 100% funded by individual supporters, it is vital that we grow our base of supporters and donors so that we can remain fiercely independent as we fight together for our fragile planet and the magnificent diversity of life that call it home.
The Philanthropy Coordinator is a crucial role in expanding Greenpeace Australia Pacific’s (GPAP) major gifts and major donor prospects.
We’re looking for a hyper-organised, dynamic and enthusiastic coordinator to join this team who will be our go-to support person. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating everything from meeting briefs, prospect research, moves management plans to gift processing and accurate record keeping, all to support Greenpeace’s ambitious organisational strategy.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate and work closely with our major gift supporters, prospects and provide support to our Philanthropy Manager and other stakeholders across the GPAP organisation.
You are someone who’s extremely organised and loves working across a variety of projects and tasks, with fabulous time management and prioritisation skills. You have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team across multiple projects at the same time.

Annual full-time salary: $79,404.95 per annum + 11.5% superannuation.
