Exciting opportunity to be a part of coordinating and executing learning and development initiatives that make a difference in the lives of our ageing communities.
The Older Persons Advocacy Network (OPAN) is a national network of independent member organisations that give a voice to older people seeking or receiving government-funded aged care services.
The network provides free and confidential aged care advocacy, information and education to older people, their families or representatives.
As a peak body organisation, OPAN works with the government and other agencies to influence aged care policy through systemic advocacy. With a collective vision is of a society where older people are heard, informed and respected, and where they can enjoy and exercise their rights to live fulfilling lives.
Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of older people? This is your chance to take on a dynamic and newly created role where you’ll plan, develop and design innovative learning activities to support the National Aged Care Advocacy Program (NACAP) and our organisation workplan. Utilise adult learning models to create engaging education forums, particularly e-learning and help drive their established webinar program.
In this role, you’ll develop tailored learning initiatives that positively impact older people and their families, the aged care workforces and their network of aged care advocates.
