The Position

This exciting position is part of our dynamic School to Work team that actively engages with our schools, community and industry partners. The position is part time - up to 4 days per week or 30.40 hours per week. This role is very operational and hands on, working across our team to implement a number of innovative projects.

These include:

  • The Real Industry Job Interview Program (RIJI)
  • Structured Workplace Learning Program (SWL)

Duties - see pd attached

  • Coordinate the delivery of the RIJI Program
  • Coordinate SWL opportunities with local schools, students and employers
  • Recruit & liaise with industry partners
  • Represent INLLEN in relevant networks
  • Maintain and manage project files and systems

key selection criteria - Skills & Experience

  • A tertiary qualification in, education, youth, community development, career development, business or related discipline.
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team with a positive outlook and strong motivation and work ethics
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain industry partnerships
  • Ability to plan, schedule and lead the development of initiatives
  • Experience with projects involving a diverse range of stakeholders from business, schools, education and community partners
  • Ability to inspire and influence people to become involved in our initiatives
  • Computer skills - word, excel, PowerPoint, email, databases and Zoom/ Teams

Office location

We have a small office at BRUDI - 420 Victoria Street Brunswick. We have hybrid working arrangements which includes provision for working from home.

Other information

  • Some out of hours work may be required from time to time
  • A Working with Children Check and Police check are required
  • Travel is required with a current Victorian drivers license
  • Your own transport is essential and a travel allowance is paid on KM basis
  • Laptop computer and mobile phone provided or phone allowance
