This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is experienced in providing case work, therapeutic group work and community support work, and who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people and their families to join our Connect team on the Coffs Coast.
Our Coffs Harbour Connect team are looking for dedicated and experienced Child, Youth and Family Workers for our Family Mental Health Support Service program (Connect). The Connect Program assists children and young people, with emerging mental health issues, and their families, to improve their mental health outcomes later in life.
You will be providing a range of high-quality case work, therapeutic group work and community development services to children, young people and their families who are at risk of, and affected by, mental illness.
The position is not an identified First Nations role, however will have a focus on supporting the First Nations community within the region.
Position will be based out of our Coffs Harbour office and will work across multiple work sites within the region, including local primary and high schools. This position will also provide a home visiting service within the Coffs Harbour and Mid North Coast region. The use of your own personal vehicle will also be required if a pool car is not available. All kilometres will be reimbursed when using your own personal vehicle.
This is a Fixed-term position until 30 June 2026, 22.5 hours per week, with the flexibility to negotiate your working days and hours, between Monday - Friday, 8am - 8pm. However, some weekend work may also be required to attend community events from time to time.
The classification of this position in reference to the SCHADS award, is Level 5. The hourly rate is $53.24ph, plus 11% superannuation and access to NFP Salary Packaging.
