You will be designing and implementing high quality, inclusive and culturally appropriate community projects within the Nauiyu Community. Our community projects prepare Jobseekers for future employment by delivering meaningful, engaging and collaborative training and development opportunities. Working within the Activities department your role will provide management, leadership and mentoring to a small team of supervisors within the region.
Your contribution will ensure Ironbark continues to meet it's the Community Development Program (CDP) contractual obligations whilst also achieving the strategic and operational outcomes of the organisation.
This is an outreach position based in Nauiyu Monday (drive in) to Friday (drive out) with accommodation provided during the week.
Joining our dynamic team, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing staff management, leading and guiding reporting staff while offering troubleshooting assistance. Your responsibilities will encompass prioritising tasks, ensuring smooth workflow, and meticulously documenting all processes.
Hosting regular meetings to optimise regional activities and providing induction and training for employees will be key aspects of your role. Operationally, you'll oversee project compliance, and maintain detailed project documentation. Successfully managing complex projects with conflicting deadlines and actively participating in risk management processes will be integral to your role.
Additionally, you'll engage with stakeholders, champion our Community Engagement Strategy, and ensure exceptional service delivery to clients. Your responsibilities will also include general maintenance of machinery/equipment, timely reporting, and effective budget management.
