This ongoing, full-time position offers flexible working arrangements, an attractive total remuneration package with access to salary packaging (PBI) and an opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of women and non-binary people.
Juno works with women (trans and cisgender) and non-binary people in Melbourne’s northern suburbs who are experiencing homelessness, family violence, or economic insecurity.
Our work is led by frameworks of intersectional, feminist, and politicised trauma informed practice. Our approach to support is non-judgemental, evidence-based, and person-centred.
We recognise the many ways women and non-binary people can be marginalised and the cumulative effects that multiple forms of discrimination can have. We speak out and amplify the voices of our participants to increase awareness of the challenges they face, the support required and to advocate for change to the systems and structures that hold them back.
Juno is committed to ensuring that our team is reflective of the diverse community we support and value a culture of equity, inclusion, and diversity. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, LGBTIQA+ people, people with disability, people with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, women and non-binary people, and people with lived experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Ability to speak a community language is also desirable.
Juno has an Equal Opportunity Exemption (H148/2021) and requests applications from women (trans and cis) and non-binary people only.
Working with a team of committed professionals, you will be responsible for providing intake, assessment, ongoing case management support and advocacy for women, non-binary people, and their children who are experiencing homelessness and its related impacts.
