As the Coordinator of Human Resources, you will play a critical role in supporting Kyabra’s managers with recruitment processes, onboarding, HR compliance, performance reviews and performance management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide information on the SCHADS Award, organisational policies and procedures and relevant legislation to Managers in regards to employment conditions, recruitment and exit procedures.
  • In conjunction with Managers, carry out job advertising, interviewing, recruitment and onboarding of staff at Kyabra.
  • Maintain electronic HR files for all staff, volunteers and students, ensuring that core documents and criminal history screening are received and kept up to date.
  • Act as the contact person to provide support for employees experiencing family and domestic violence, providing appropriate resources and referral information.
  • Maintain relevant HR Policies and Procedures, including updating these as required and making available to staff.
  • Maintain Human Resource component of Bamboo HR software system.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in Human Resources and/or Business Administration.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • A proactive, detail-oriented individual with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organisation.

  • Attention to Detail: within HR processes.
  • Time Management: Capable of prioritising tasks and managing competing deadlines.

Salary and conditions are in accordance with Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Level 5 ($49.28-$51.51 per hour). We also offer:
