We are looking for someone to join our small but innovative team to lead the development and expansion of our finance, compliance and HR operations.

This is a newly created position and will see the expansion of the operations and administrative functions of the Organisation. Your mission will primarily be to bring the administration into alignment with the future direction of the Organisation with a view to financial oversight and planning, working closely with the Executive Manager to ensure continued program growth and sustainability.

You will work collaboratively across the Organisation, spearheading innovative solutions that will enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You will work to drive operational excellence, understanding the relationship between all organisational facets, in order to achieve maximum impact and success.

You will understand that as a mixed business, you will need to be highly organised and use your initiative to ensure timely outcomes.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about working in a community setting and values the impact Kew Neighbourhood Learning Centre is making
  • Shares our values and commitment to the Organisation and all our stakeholders
  • Has a robust financial background ideally with qualifications in accounting, but definitely must have bookkeeping qualifications and a minimum of 2 years experience.
  • Is capable of leading and executing initiatives successfully.
  • Has excellent communication skills.
  • Is a whizz with numbers and forecasting.
  • Who is highly organised.
