ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

This is an exciting time to join Knoxbrooke as we move into our next phase of organisational growth! A member of the Leadership Team, in this pivotal role you will:

  • Lead the implementation of tailored diversity and inclusion strategies and drive organizational growth.
  • Manage a small team made up of People & Culture Advisor, Recruitment Coordinator and Quality & Safety Advisor.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with best practice and legislative standards, while also managing employee documentation, WorkCover and workplace rehabilitation processes, and compliance.

This is a hybrid role based in Bayswater with regular travel required to Warragul.

ABOUT YOU:

We're seeking a compassionate leader with a minimum of 10 years' progressive HR management experience, someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to putting our clients at the forefront of everything we do.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working for a not-for-profit organisation (preferred)
  • Generalist HR knowledge with exposure to a wide range of HR functions including; employee relations, remuneration, Agreement/Award interpretation, recruitment, organisational change and people development
  • Experience developing and implementing business-wide HR strategies
  • Demonstrated capability to lead and develop a small team
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues through effective mediation, negotiation and conflict resolution
  • Applied knowledge of contemporary HR issues and a working knowledge of Australian employment law and industrial relations
  • Experience in the development and delivery of HR policies and procedures
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and previous experience in the implementation, management and use of HR information systems
  • Current drivers’ licence and vehicle
