About CASACV:

CASACV is a dynamic organisation offering a suite of specialist services to clients and community across the central Victoria region. We provide 24-hour crisis care support, therapeutic counselling, early intervention, professional education and training, and research. We provide outreach services across the Loddon region including providing specialist services at Tarrengower Prison.

The Role:

As a Groupwork Coordinator you will research, develop, facilitate and evaluate engaging evidence-based group work programs for those impacted by sexual and family violence, and their supporters. The Coordinator works collaboratively with CASACV Counsellor/Advocates in co-faciliatory roles, and builds capacity and skills of staff to facilitate groupwork models as required.

About You:

You have a qualification (degree or above) as a Health Professional (Art Therapist, Family Therapist, Social Work or Psychology), have an understanding of the gendered nature of sexual and family violence and impacts of trauma across the life course. You have experience developing, delivering and evaluating effective groupwork interventions, including ability to create session plans, develop participant materials and supporting resources.

You possess exceptional professionalism, interpersonal and communication skills. You have a sound background in group facilitation, including managing group dynamics, negotiating conflict and transforming understanding.
