As the Marketing Automation Lead, reporting to the Marketing Automation Manager, you will work closely with our Fundraising and Growth team, whose primary purpose is to create an exceptional experience for all those wanting to support the Leukaemia Foundation. 

You are an experienced marketing automation professional operating with a business partner mentality. You understand the importance of partnering with key internal stakeholders to understand their priorities and direction while coupling this with leveraging your expertise to showcase the role marketing automation will play in bringing their strategy to life.

Support comes in many forms and can include fundraising through the World’s Greatest Shave, donating directly or even leaving a gift in your will. You will work with the Digital Experience Lead to help define the strategy for key stages of the Fundraising and Growth lifecycle.

This role is located in Fortitude Valley Brisbane, however, we would be open to speaking with candidates in Sydney and Melbourne. 

What we will trust you with

  • Designing, building and executing campaigns through our marketing automation platform; Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
  • Driving best practice and delivering process efficiencies in campaign planning and execution.
  • Contributing to the development of solutions that deliver a calendar of cross-channel campaigns. 
  • Optimising campaigns through A/B testing. 
  • Fostering relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure high standards of work and deliverables are met. 
  • Implementing innovative strategies to grow engagement and drive revenue generation.

Does this sound like you?

  • Tertiary qualified in commerce, marketing or digital. 
  • 3+ years experience in lifecycle marketing roles.
  • Experience in customer journey mapping, audience segmentation and automation journey design and development. 
  • 3+ years experience with the SFMC platform, including troubleshooting issues, across data ingestion, html coding, deliverability, data flows and journeys. 
  • Excellent campaign reporting skills across all channels. 
  • Highly organised and be a creative and innovative thinker with strong attention to detail. 
  • Experience in programming in SQL, Javascript, Ampscript or HTML would be beneficial
  • An understanding of fundraising and the not-for-profit space would be desirable (not essential)
