Working in a team, you will facilitate the delivery of quality services and achieve positive outcomes with clients in a positive and proactive environment. You will be actively supporting their individual needs and creating a safe environment. You will be responsible for some personal care, medication administration and to encourage the client to participate with household tasks. You will also be responsible for supporting and promoting their skills and abilities, implementing and monitoring their Individual Support Plan.
Experience with restrictive practices, challenging behaviours and the implementation of positive behaviour support plans is essential.
Please note: In order to best support our clients, the successful incumbent for this position will be required to work some weekends and must be flexible with working arrangements. Availability for sleepover shifts is essential. The successful incumbent will have a reliable vehicle and will be required to support clients with transport. This role will service Gold Coast, Logan & Redland Bay Region locations. You will be required to travel to these locations.
