Lort Smith Animal Hospital

About us

Lort Smith is a Melbourne icon, serving its people and animals for 87 years. We are Australia’s biggest non-profit animal hospital treating over 20,000 animals a year across two locations. Our North Melbourne hospital and clinic provides a broad range of veterinary and emergency services to the community of Melbourne and its surrounds and our Campbellfield Adoption Centre is a vet clinic and shelter, rehoming surrendered animals.

We are passionate about the work we do. Our focus is on how we can best support the team at Lort Smith to continue to provide veterinary and animal care to the community.
