To help us achieve this mission, we're looking for a passionate Human Resource Business Partner to join our team.

This amazing role is a part-time position, working approximately 25 hours per week, with flexibility as to the spread of working hours and days.

Your Role:

As the leader of the HR function, you'll lead our HR function and contribute to building a high-performing and engaged team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Lead our talent acquisition and onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience.
  • People & Performance: Serve as the go-to contact for staff inquiries, foster open communication, and assist managers with performance feedback.
  • Culture and Engagement: Champion our vibrant organisational culture and plan activities to boost employee engagement.
  • Training and Development: Promote professional growth through mentoring and oversee compliance with training requirements.
  • HR Administration & Reporting: Maintain accurate HR records and generate insightful reports for management.
  • Policies and Compliance: Develop and enforce HR policies, ensuring alignment with legal and organisational standards.

About You:

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a stand-alone HR role, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A collaborative spirit with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and adaptability.
  • Demonstrated discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
