Make-A-Wish is one of Australia’s most trusted charities and part of the largest wish-granting organisations in the world. We partner with children with life threatening conditions, their families, and medical teams to grant wishes as unique as the children who imagine them. At Make-A-Wish, our mission is to grant the wish of every eligible child as we believe these wishes complement treatment, build resilience and bring hope to these children and their families when they need it most.
We are seeking a talented, engaged, and driven Wish Planner to join the team. Working in the Wish team, you will play a critical role in bringing each wish to fruition. The role of the Wish Planner is to create a bespoke wish journey for every child, working with external suppliers and internal teams to deliver goods, travel and experience wishes on time and within budget.
The role is responsible for creating exceptional wish experiences, taking the brief from the Wish Catcher team, and tailoring a wish journey that brings the child’s unique wish to life.
This exciting opportunity will suit someone who is agile, likes working in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for giving, is detail orientated, and has exceptional organisation skills; and enjoys being creative and using their imagination.
The position will enable you to play a critical role in making wishes possible for children in Australia.
In return for your passion and enthusiasm, Make-A-Wish offers the opportunity to work within an engaged, high-performing team while helping to make a life-changing difference to seriously ill children – what could be a better motivation?
If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you! Only applications submitted online will be considered. Due the high volume of applications we receive, phone calls will only be arranged with those shortlisted for screening. If you have any questions please contact us on [email protected] using the subject line: Wish Planner enquiry via EthicalJobs.
Make-A-Wish Australia is proud to be a child-safe organisation. Our recruitment practices are strictly adhered to during the application and interview process and include thorough screening to ensure that anyone joining us at Make-A-Wish aligns with our values and commitment to child safety.
