Monaro Family Support Service (MFSS) is seeking a dynamic professional to take on the role of Director of Corporate Services. If you are passionate about community service, have a knack for managing corporate functions, and are looking for a flexible work environment, we want to hear from you!

About Us

MFSS is a well-established, community-based non-government organisation dedicated to supporting families and developing community capacity in the Monaro region since 1978. We deliver a wide range of parenting, playgroup and early childhood programs, youth mental health support, counselling, casework, community education, mobile preschools, along with early intervention and NDIS services for children and young people aged 0-18.

Your Role

Reporting directly the CEO, the Director of Corporate Services, you will oversee the management of administrative, financial, HR, and compliance systems and operations, ensuring they are efficient, accountable, and of the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administration Management: Ensure efficient operations and systems, oversee external enquiries, manage communications and marketing, and establish maintenance systems for our offices.
  • Financial Management: Monitor transactions, manage payroll, oversee banking and accounts, ensure financial reporting compliance, and liaise with auditors.
  • Compliance: Implement WHS policies, develop and maintain compliance frameworks, and ensure legislative and regulatory adherence.
  • Human Resources Management: Provide effective IR and ER support, manage HR software, and promote a positive workplace culture.

What We’re Looking For

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in senior administration, financial, and HR management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and time management skills.
  • Ability to operate in a constantly evolving business.
  • Current Working with Children Check (NSW) or ability to obtain one.
  • Proficiency in MYOB, and other financial applications preferable.
