The Northern Community Legal Centre (NCLC) provides legal services and community legal education to people facing systemic barriers to accessing such services in Melbourne’s North West and Northern growth areas by enabling protection of rights and access to justice. As People and Culture Adviser you will partner with the Senior Management Team to create a positive and engaged culture where people are inspired to perform at their best, feel supported, heard and included, are encouraged to grow their capabilities and their careers and work together to maximise our impact for our clients and community.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will develop and drive the people and culture strategy that will contribute to the delivery of the NCLC strategy and to strengthen the operational people functions across the organisation. The role will work across all elements of the people and culture function, including delivering organisational culture initiatives, people management activities, talent and succession planning, workforce planning, recruitment and retention of team members, learning and development, staff health, safety and wellbeing initiatives, providing HR and ER advice to managers, drafting, implementing, and reviewing HR policies to meet the organisation’s accreditation and governance obligations.
