Nova for Women and Children has exciting opportunities for enthusiastic and community-minded health professionals!
Nova is looking for Occupational Therapists and/or Speech Pathologists to provide specialist health services and intervention to children and young person’s experiencing or at risk of homelessness and who have been impacted by domestic and family violence.
These roles will work closely with Nova’s Practice Lead and Children and Young People’s Case Workers to provide direct professional health services to children and young people that are trauma informed, family centred and culturally appropriate.
Working in a fast-paced environment, you will undertake initial evaluation and assessment, as well as specialist health services whilst children and young people are in crisis and transitional accommodation. You will also provide advice on practical strategies to meet identified goals, as per case plans and referrals for ongoing support.
These roles are offered on a part time fixed term basis of around 1-2 days per week until 30 June 2024, with possibility of extension subject to funding.
