What You'll Do

Reporting to the People and Culture Manager you will implement OV’s Workforce Development Strategy by building professional development pathways, driving wellbeing benefits and initiatives, supporting inclusion and diversity, enhance learning opportunities and fostering retention & recognition.

  • Lead the design and implementation of a forward-thinking workforce development strategy aligned with our mission and values.
  • Create leadership coaching and mentoring opportunities, track employee competencies, and develop clear career progression frameworks.
  • Drive initiatives that improve accessibility for neurodiverse and underrepresented groups, ensuring a welcoming workplace for all.
  • Collaborate with the Odyssey Institute to deliver impactful learning opportunities and training programs for both clinical and non-clinical staff.
  • Develop programs to support physical, mental, and emotional health, addressing workplace stressors and enhancing employee satisfaction.
  • Review and refine recruitment strategies to attract top talent and align with our workforce goals.
  • Oversee initiatives like our Reward and Recognition program, ensuring staff feel valued and supported.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, implement legislative updates, and adapt workforce policies to reflect best practices.
  • Work with managers and stakeholders to identify skills gaps, design training solutions, and align workforce capabilities with client needs.

  • A strategic thinker and self-starter with a passion for workforce development.
  • Proven experience in human resources, project management, training coordination or relevant applicable experience.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
  • A commitment to diversity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Safety screening

Mandatory COVID vaccinations

In line with OV's Mandatory Vaccination Policy, all Odyssey Victoria staff are required to hold Fully Vaccinated (Boosted) status, having also received the Booster Vaccination. Evidence of this minimum of three (3) COVID-19 vaccinations will be requested during the onboarding process and offers will be rescinded where such evidence cannot be provided.

All Odyssey Victoria sites are smoke free for all employees.
