Seeking an experienced and compassionate Conflict Resolution Specialist to join an incredible NFP in the Northern Beaches area.
You will be working for a well-known, not-for-profit organisation whose mission is to actively rehabilitate and preserve Australian wildlife and native animals. Receiving around 170,000 calls each year from people requiring advice or assistance, they utilise their network of over 3000 volunteer wildlife rescuers and carers, as well as their connections with veterinarians, the RSPCA and government departments to coordinate rescues and provide assistance. In addition to providing rescue services, they also play a major role in community native wildlife education.
Working out of their Brookvale offices, you will be responsible for the timely and professional follow-up, investigation, and resolution of any formal complaints made by volunteers or staff. With a strong background in effective conflict management and resolution delivery, and the ability to develop relationship with key stakeholders, you will use your ability to interpret legislation, regulations and awards, together with policies and procedures to resolve concerns and encourage positive resolutions.
In this, you will report to the HR Manager for day-to-day activities and directly to the CEO for the resolution of formal cases.
This is a temporary position, however a one-year contract may be available for the right candidate.
