The Prevention Sector Engagement team is focused on expanding Our Watch’s engagement with the primary prevention workforce and sector across Australia, with an overarching aim to increase the skills, coordination and size of those working to prevent violence against women. This position plays a key role in building awareness, knowledge and understanding of Change the Story: a shared framework for the primary prevention of violence against women in Australia, through the development and delivery of training, learning and capability building activities.
You will be an experienced prevention specialist, with a strong knowledge of primary prevention of violence against women. You will have sophisticated communication skills and confidence engaging a broad range of stakeholders, with experience developing and facilitating training programs and learning activities that suit the diverse entry points, needs and contexts of the prevention workforce across Australia. You will be able to work independently, as well as engaging respectfully with colleagues and external stakeholders.
