The role:

Reporting to the Senior Manager Planning & Performance, the Manager Business Improvement will lead business process and continuous improvement activities ensuring alignment with our strategic goals. The role will lead a team of data and business analysts to deliver on outcomes and evaluation initiatives while identifying and implementing opportunities for business improvement across the organisation.

The Manager, Business Improvement ensures that the operational efficiency of OzChild’s programs and support services is maximised through the development and implementation of data led business improvement interventions. The role supports the learning and application of knowledge, systems, and skills to OzChild staff based on evidence informed data and analysis, and its contribution to improving outcomes for children and young people.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of three direct reports responsible for data collation, analysis, and outcomes evaluation reporting across the organisation
  • Work with Service Directors to develop and implement success measures and reporting for change initiatives
  • Act as an internal consultant, working with stakeholders to identify and eliminate pain points through training and systems improvement
  • Sit at the intersection of new technologies and change management, driving scoping and improvement of new and existing solutions and ensuring organisational adoption
  • Empower internal stakeholders to automate data capture and unlock the power of their reporting to drive better outcomes

  • A tertiary qualification or relevant organisational management experience in business improvement or organisational change
