Practice Lead

OzChild

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Practice Lead (or if you have the skills to fulfil this role we are happy to look at transferrable skills ) to partner closely with our consortia, stakeholders and staff to support the ongoing implementation of the Goulburn and Brimbank Melton Putting Families First (PFF) Programs. Our successful candidate will lead the end-to-end process and lead & deliver the new and innovative Putting Families First Program in the Brimbank/Melton area.

The Putting Families First (PFF) pilot program will intensively support families who come into contact with the Child Protection and/or Justice systems to enable sustained positive changes in their lives.

The current service system presents a range of challenges that make it difficult for families to overcome intergenerational and intrafamilial drivers of disadvantage and contact with the child protection and justice systems. This includes missed opportunities to intervene early, system barriers and a limited ‘whole of family’ lens to providing services and addressing the needs of family members, and the family as a unit.

OzChild and the consortium are committed to the delivery of what works for children, young people and families including evidenced based and/or informed models of intervention.
