We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Practice Lead (or if you have the skills to fulfil this role we are happy to look at transferrable skills ) to partner closely with our consortia, stakeholders and staff to support the ongoing implementation of the Goulburn and Brimbank Melton Putting Families First (PFF) Programs. Our successful candidate will lead the end-to-end process and lead & deliver the new and innovative Putting Families First Program in the Brimbank/Melton area.
The Putting Families First (PFF) pilot program will intensively support families who come into contact with the Child Protection and/or Justice systems to enable sustained positive changes in their lives.
The current service system presents a range of challenges that make it difficult for families to overcome intergenerational and intrafamilial drivers of disadvantage and contact with the child protection and justice systems. This includes missed opportunities to intervene early, system barriers and a limited ‘whole of family’ lens to providing services and addressing the needs of family members, and the family as a unit.
OzChild and the consortium are committed to the delivery of what works for children, young people and families including evidenced based and/or informed models of intervention.
This exciting opportunity comes with some great perks
We are interviewing for this role immediately so do not delay your application.
Successful candidates will be required to complete all necessary safety screening including National / International Police Check and Working with Children Checks relevant to VICTORIA.
All shortlisted candidates will be required to provide evidence of their COVID vaccination status.
Oz Child is committed to the employment of Aboriginal people and providing a work environment in which Aboriginal peoples' cultures, beliefs and values are acknowledged and respected, and in which the individual career goals and personal aims of Aboriginal staff are identified, promoted and achieved.
OzChild is a child-safe organisation committed to protecting children and young people from all forms of abuse, bullying, exploitation and neglect, and to creating environments in all our programs and services where children are safe and feel safe.
OzChild is an equal opportunity employer and encourages individuals of diverse backgrounds to apply.
