Over the last seven years OzChild’s project office has transformed the way the organisation approaches projects and ways of collaboratively working together, and now due to internal movement, we are looking for a new person to continue elevating our project office.

The Role

As the Manager, Project Office, you will play a pivotal role in our Planning and Performance team, reporting to the Senior Manager Planning and Performance. This position is focused on enhancing efficiency and accountability through effective project management.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with senior leaders and managers to drive project efficiency and success.
  • Utilise proven project management methodologies to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Manage multiple key projects simultaneously, ensuring they align with organisational goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to project leaders to keep projects on the right track.
  • Influence, coach, and lead project teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Chair project meetings, facilitating productive discussions and decision-making.
  • Apply problem-solving and design thinking to overcome project challenges.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a forward-thinking individual with a natural intuition for effective project management. The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • Change management skills to drive transformational initiatives.
  • Proven project management experience, demonstrating the ability to deliver successful outcomes.
  • A deep passion for the work we do in support of vulnerable children and families.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft suite applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Planner.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and effective communication abilities.
