The Circle Program is a funded Therapeutic Foster Care service and is a collaborative partnership between OzChild and the Australian Childhood Foundation (ACF). OzChild Home Based Care program holds responsibility for the case management aspect of this program.

The purpose of the position is to support the Program Manager in delivery and performance of the program through the leadership and management of a team and case management activities and in doing so:

• Ensure the review and development of both OzChild and DHHS policy and practice guidelines for the effective delivery of high- quality services to children and young people, their families and to carers/volunteers.
• Enhance practice and service quality through policy and program development.
• Provide leadership, support and supervision to team members.
• Display leadership in a complex and demanding environment.

One good definition of an effective leader is a person who creates an inspiring vision of the future, motivates and inspires people to engage with that vision, manages delivery of the vision, & coaches & builds a team, so that it is more effective at achieving the vision.

Essential requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psych or related field
