OzHarvest’s Nourish Program is designed to engage at-risk youth who face lifelong disengagement from education, training and employment. Offering more than hospitality skills, it creates hope, opportunity and supported pathways for vulnerable youth.

The Nourish Team in Adelaide, SA is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as an onsite Youth Worker. This position will be a part-time closed period until December 2022.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Support the recruitment of new students by participating in the recruitment process.
• Assist the young people with mental and emotional wellbeing whilst attending Nourish.
• Plan, guide and support the students into employment and/or education pathways after the completion of the program.

To be successful you will have:

• Qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. Youth Work, Social Work, Social Science, Counselling).
• Experience working in community services.
• Experience working with at-risk young people.
• Strong motivation and initiative.
• Covid-19 Vaccination
