Jenny's Place provides crisis and transitional accommodation and support, early intervention and prevention programs, outreach support and community education to women and children experiencing domestic violence and homelessness in our local community. Established in 1977, their programs deliver integrated case management to assist clients to obtain and maintain safe, affordable housing and referral to appropriate services to meet individual client needs.

As an Aboriginal Caseworker, you will provide case management and support to Aboriginal women and their children who are experiencing or at risk of domestic and family violence (DFV) and homelessness. Working within the Newcastle Domestic Violence Resource Centre (NDVRC), you will help clients navigate their journey to safety, providing culturally appropriate, trauma-informed care.

You are required to hold a current driver’s license, Working with Children Clearance and a National Police Check as part of your employment.
