About the role

Penrith Women’s Health Centre (PWHC) is looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Domestic & Family Violence Case Manager to join our Safety and Empowerment Services team. Our team is focused on providing services that support women who are experiencing domestic and family violence using trauma informed and client led approach.

This role is part of a small team of dedicated and highly capable Domestic and Family Violence Case Managers whose work is guided by the various national, state and local plans to reduce violence against women and their children. Our team provide a range of safety and empowerment services with a focus on ensuring safety and security, whilst using education to build resilience and empower women in our care.

PWHC's Safety and Empowerment Services are funded through Department of Communities and Justice under DVF Support Service (DVPASS), and SHLV funding streams to enable Domestic & Family Violence Case Managers to offer clients any or all of the full range of DFV services available. Our centre is committed to providing support services that are culturally appropriate, and evidence informed.

More details about the position are listed below:

  • Full-time (38 hours per week), with flexible work arrangements with the option to negotiate working from home one day per week, please note that this position may require some travel to outreach locations;
  • Fixed-term until 30 June 2026 - with expectation that the position may be extended subject to confirmation of ongoing funding;

About Working with Penrith Women’s Health Centre

PWHC has been supporting the women of Penrith to improve their health and wellbeing since 1987. Our centre provides an inviting, safe space for women to seek support and social connection. We provide safety and empowerment services including domestic and family violence case management, brokerage, case coordination, education and social groups. Our health and wellbeing services team includes, nurses, counsellors, massage therapists and community development officer, all of whom are supported by our shared services and administration team. Our centre is close to Penrith CBD, and has easy access to all-day parking and public transport connections.
