The Position

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic human resources leader with a demonstrated track record of leadership, influence and experience in delivering organisational wide change and continuous system improvement, in line with organisational values.

Reporting to the CEO, the Organisational Development Coordinator will work in partnership with management and employees to ensure we achieve the organisations Strategic Theme of Live our Values, achieving this by:

  • Fostering a culture that embodies our values
  • Focusing on staff retention, staff wellbeing, development and progression
  • Facilitate individual ownership of Reef Catchments values and behaviours.

The Coordinator will lead an organisation wide approach to the design, delivery and implementation of the organisations Strategic Plan, particularly the Strategic Initiatives. You will also design a reporting framework to track and measure the success of implementing the organisations Strategic Initiatives.

Your leadership will ensure the management team, and organisation is trained, engaged, aligned and high-performing. This ensures Reef Catchments can deliver on our vision of – Resilient Ecosystem, Engaged Community.

Selection criteria

Essential

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, or a related discipline, or minimum 5 years experience in HR role, with a passion for people and culture
  • Experience in the design and implementation of an organisation wide change management program
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience embedding culture change programs and initiatives, and influencing positive change
  • Highly developed skills and experience in project management experience (complex projects with competing interests and priorities)
  • Demonstrated innovative mindset for continuous improvement
  • Ability to build rapport / positive relationships across the organisation using highly developed communication, consultative and engagement skills
  • Demonstrate ability to prepare briefs, correspondence, and a variety of reports to a high standard; and maintain comprehensive and detailed confidential records
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Display initiative and work autonomously
  • Experience leading a multi-disciplinary team
