Reground

About Reground

Reground is a waste education service committed to changing behaviour around waste and to establishing a truly circular economy benefitting the environment and our communities.

In our work transforming waste into a resource we have diverted over 1,250,000 kilos of coffee from landfill to community and home gardeners and helped hundreds of businesses move closer to being waste-free. Ware actively engaged in changing the systems around waste through applied solutions and advocacy and work closely with councils, state government, and corporations on best waste practices, waste avoidance and behaviour change.

We are a small, impactful team, excited to welcome a passionate and committed Senior Project Manager to our consultancy team.

Our values

At Reground we work 4 days per week as we believe this creates healthier, happier people, a better work environment and better results, too. We are based in Alphington in Melbourne’s inner north and offer flexible working arrangements; occasional travel may also be required for this role. You will need to live in Melbourne to be considered; you will need a full driver's license and to be comfortable behind the wheel.

We pride ourselves on being a creative, hardworking, problem-solving and passionate team, genuinely excited to do meaningful work every single day. We work to ensure a collaborative and supportive culture that is centred around personal and professional growth.

We use real-world data, behavioural science and on-the-ground waste interventions to achieve our goals, and we all pitch in when the project demands it. To succeed in this role, you'll need to be happy getting your hands dirty with the occasional coffee collection or waste audit (with appropriate safety equipment, of course!)

About the Role

We are looking for someone with excellent project management and people skills as well as a burning passion for helping businesses and governments transition to circular systems. The role is responsible for facilitating successful projects, managing and resourcing the consultancy team as well as business development to grow our impact.

Please note that in order to be considered for this role you will need to have at least five years of experience in Project Management.
Please also note that we are looking to commence this role as soon as possible, so if you are interested in applying we encourage you to do so right away.

Reground's Senior Project Manager will be overseeing and delivering multiple projects at the same time. They will manage projects from end-to-end, liaising with a range of stakeholders and clients. In this role, you will analyse data and create recommendations off the back of this data to inform and educate various stakeholders. You will be a seamless and efficient multitasker, keeping both long and short-term resources and goals in mind while overseeing diverse projects.

This role is hands-on and varied: you will need to be as comfortable gathering data in person at a waste audit as you are attending events and giving presentations and in the office developing project plans, writing reports and managing the team. The aim of this role is to develop and supporting the consultancy team to deliver and improve Reground’s service offering; making sustainable waste management solutions mainstream. Strategic thinking is critical. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is a natural leader and an effective worker who cares about how we can implement waste systems that work for people and our planet.
