Full Time Position.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated professional who will be part of a small, committed team delivering on the mission of the charity to support families with seriously ill children. This is a critical role as our volunteers are an essential part of the charity and we value their contribution.

The Volunteer and Programs Coordinator coordinates the chapter volunteer program including facilitating the recruitment and on boarding of volunteers and being the key point of contact for prospective and current volunteers and assist in the daily operations of the chapters four programs.

You will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of the Volunteer recruitment strategy and develop partnerships to promote volunteer opportunities and attract volunteers.

The volunteer on-boarding, learning and development, reward and recognition is also an important part of the role. You will also be required to maintain the volunteer rostering framework including events volunteers.

You will have the ability to build collaborative relationships and strengthen partnerships to assist us to achieve our mission and goals. You will also take pride in your work and strive for excellence to achieve the best possible results and improve the programs and services of the house chapter.

You will provide a warm welcome to families entering the programs and be a point of contact for providing assistance as required.

Qualifications and Training

• Desirable: Qualifications in human resource management, community services, social sciences, or related discipline.

Experience

• Essential: Experience in a Human Resource or Volunteer Recruitment position or equivalent.
• Desirable: Experience in the not-for-profit sector.
