Since opening our doors in 1982 to share a meal with the most vulnerable members of the community, we have evolved into an independent non-profit organisation renowned for effectively helping thousands of people experiencing homelessness to rebuild their lives. At the heart of everything we do, we recognise everybody is unique. No matter where people are in their journey, we are here to support them and we do not give up.
Every day of the year, Sacred Heart Mission (SHM) assist hundreds of people who are experiencing homelessness or living in poverty to find shelter, food, care and support. We are in this for the long haul - we are committed to making a sustainable difference in people’s lives. Everyone is welcome at our table.
Working within the People and Strategy Division in a full-time role, you will lead the Quality and Projects team overseeing quality and compliance activities, research and evaluation, key strategic projects and risk management.
Managing multiple activities at any one time, you will drive the ongoing development of our best practice, evidence-based service model and research agenda. You will also manage the ongoing implementation and improvement of robust systems that ensure we meet our quality, risk and compliance requirements across the organisation.
This role represents an outstanding opportunity to grow your career to an Executive level position, in a supportive not-for-profit environment over the next 2-3 years. Career aspirations to grow and develop are desirable.
You will provide leadership and support to the Quality and Projects team. As an active member of the Management Group, you will be a key contributor to the success of Sacred Heart Mission. Your key stakeholders will be the Executive Leadership and the Management group across all programs in SHM. You will be building relationships with staff and teams across the entire organisation. You will also work collaboratively with People and Strategy Managers.
