The role

As a senior leader, you will play a key role in driving transformational impact by shaping strategy, forging partnerships and securing funding to expand PIA’s reach. You will innovate funding models and launch high-impact ventures that directly benefit communities in need.

Through your leadership, you will cultivate a purpose-driven culture, empowering teams to align with feminist leadership and safeguarding principles while advancing PIA’s mission.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive transformative resource mobilisation strategies to expand social impact
  • Forge strategic partnerships to unlock sustainable funding and fuel growth
  • Lead the design and incubation of high-impact initiatives, including social impact investing
  • Foster a collaborative, mission-aligned team culture grounded in feminist leadership
  • Ensure compliance and manage risks while enhancing funding opportunities
  • Champion the organisation in key forums to elevate mission & generate greater impact

What you bring

You are a visionary leader, with a proven track record in strategy and business development, particularly in scaling development programs and securing funding from diverse institutional donors. You have extensive knowledge of working with government, multilateral and private finance sectors, along with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.

You are most energised when tasked to identify and design innovative opportunities that drive impact. Your skills include-

  • Expertise in innovative financing models; social impact investing and blended finance
  • Communication & relationship-building skills to influence and forge key partnerships
  • Deep knowledge of international development and/or climate and environmental issues

Your commitment to safeguarding, gender equality, and feminist leadership will guide your approach to fostering collaboration and growth, leading your team to deliver exceptional results.
