SSI is delivering the Asylum Seeker Employment Skills Support Program (ASESS) on behalf of the NSW Government providing employment support services to address the challenges experienced by asylum seekers in finding long term employment opportunities
The Asylum Seeker Employment Skills Support (ASSESS) Program Manager provides overall leadership and strategic direction for the regions that SSI delivers ASSESS and is responsible for ensuring quality service delivery for the regions, workforce planning, staffing and recruitment strategies, performance management and reporting on performance, financial management, and implementing strategies for performance improvements.
The ASSESS Program Manager is responsible for ensuring all customers and clients’ needs and expectations are being met through SSI’s service delivery model and supporting clients and job seekers being placed into training or employment.
The ASSESS Program Manager manages key relationships with government department representatives, Centrelink, employers, community organisations, training organisations, specialist providers, and the broader community.
