About the Function

At SSI, our People and Culture team provides expertise on strategic workforce design and planning, through building organisational capability to drive talent and performance management practices, empowers leaders and coach managers through business partnering, talent acquisition and change management, whilst providing learning and development opportunities for all people.

About the Role

No two days will be the same and learning will not stop!! You will work with a fun, dynamic, respectful, and collaborative team and you will be excited to partner with various internal and external stakeholders!

The primary purpose of this role is to primarily to manage the core HRHCM and reporting system and be accountable for end user support. The role will work closely with leaders to provide and support technology solutions and reporting capabilities for all people related data. The role will also be responsible for revising and implementing systems and processes that ensure best possible end user experience, data integrity, consistency, and efficiency of operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be accountable for the efficiency and effectiveness of SSI’s HRMIS.
  • Understand concepts of data management and interdependencies in creating an end to end HRIS solution.
  • Initiate and support improvements in processes and workflows, driving automation and self-service improvements of existing processes.
  • Ensuring high quality data input and management via data cleansing, and training of HR Administration Officers and other system users.
  • Developing relationships, both with IT and externally, that encourage and facilitate new initiatives to support and enhance HR systems, including assist with regular HRIS upgrades, release management and analysing data flows for process improvement opportunities, supports bug fixes and providing relevant business continuity plans as an input HR processes.
  • Building and running HR Dashboards and reports according to standardised schedules, and responding to ad-hoc reporting requests from across the organisation.
  • Perform or supports audits and controls to ensure compliance and integrity of People data. Provide frequent and clear communications regarding the status of initiatives, keeping stakeholders informed of changes and work that is in progress.
  • Develop training curriculum and conduct formal and informal People Systems training sessions.

About You

Are you a quick learner with a problem-solving mindset? Utilise your skills to support a high performing team.

The successful candidate will ideally be equipped with:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources Systems Administration or reporting function, coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications in Business or Computer Science.
  • Experience in core HCM system implementation projects.
  • Deep understanding of People data, metrics analysis and trends.
  • Knowledge and understanding of HCM systems (ideally Ceridian DayForce, ConnX, Live Hire, Elmo, or other cloud-based solutions, but If you have other relevant HCM system experience we can train you on ours)
  • Strong data literacy, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management, project management, and organisational skills.
  • 4+ years of experience with and sound understanding of Human Resource Information Systems.
  • 2+ years of experience with BI or analytics tools (OBIEE, Cognos, Tableau, Visier etc).
  • Ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage competing demands.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail and a constant improvement focus, underpinned by a strong service attitude.
  • Demonstrated skills using Excel/spreadsheets and advanced functions within these.
  • Strong Computer skills including Microsoft Suite of programs
