ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a permanent part-time position, 40 hours a fortnight.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Scheduler to join our team who will be responsible for the rostering and scheduling of St Agnes’ Care and Lifestyle staff and clients to provide a reliable and consistent service to clients in the community. 

A particular focus of the position will be to ensure that the roster is appropriately filled in accordance with service deliverables, service standards, and employment related provisions. 

Your excellent organisational skills, analytical thinking and well-developed communication skills will be vital in your success. You will be able to manage a busy schedule, multiple priorities effectively and respond to challenging work requirements with ease. You will enjoy a busy role where you can work autonomously and collaboratively in a team, as the position requires.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Commitment to work in harmony with Catholic Values and Principles.
• Cert III in Business Administration (desirable but not essential).
• Experience preparing rosters in accordance with organisational roster structures. 
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in any of the following: Aged or Community Care, Rostering, and Administration.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a office environment.
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Office), with a high degree of attention to detail.
• You have the ability to liaise with Care Coordinators to understand service requirements and ensure clients are appropriately supported with the allocation of staff.
• Undertake/facilitate relevant Scheduling audits as directed by the Home Care Manager.
• You are familiar with the principles of continuous quality improvement. 
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with ability to handle competing demands and deadlines.
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
  Positive and pro-active approach to work, with excellent customer service skills.
