The role

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Team Leader: SEE. The ideal candidate will be an excellent team player, flexible, outcome-focused, and possess a can-do attitude. Strong liaison and negotiation skills will be essential for building robust relationships with a diverse range of key stakeholders. In this role, you will lead and supervise staff, provide expert advice to assist participants with various barriers to engaging with education, and interpret complex government contracts in the context of training service delivery.

Your responsibilities will include delivering SEE services at the site level in accordance with RTO delivery and assessment standards to enhance contractual and commercial performance across designated sites and locations. You will manage day-to-day operations, lead staff to optimise contractual performance, and ensure participant needs and service delivery requirements are met.

To be successful in this role, we are keen to hear from people who are interesting in further developing or can demonstrate the following

  • Experience in government contracted education and training delivery
  • Ability to interpret The VET Quality Framework and government contracts
  • An ability to lead and manage a team to drive performance
  • Successful leadership practices, along with the skills to motivate and empower people across multiple sites
  • Technical proficiency that supports the achievement of KPI’s, compliance requirements and meets Organisational standards
  • High level of business acumen with a track record of achieving successful results
  • Experience in a customer centric role, requiring high levels of professionalism, trust and integrity while working to achieve targets, KPIs and/or service delivery standards
  • Outstanding organisational skills, with a focus on achieving outcomes, maintaining professional standards, and consistently delivering high-quality, culturally competent services with integrity
  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across teams, while demonstrating initiative, creativity, and a commitment to excellence 

What you will bring

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or higher
  • VET qualification 
  • Extensive Training Services experience in a similar role is required
