An exciting opportunity has become available for a Claims Officer to join the welcoming and supportive team in Caloundra.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain detailed knowledge of contractual requirements of the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program and the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP)
  • Complete claims processes in accordance with contractual guidelines and timeframes for the Sunshine Coast Region
  • Prior to submitting claims for payment, review evidence to ensure it is compliant with contractual requirement
  • Monitoring and administration of systems to ensure activities, scheduling and placements are actioned within required timeframes
  • Record keeping and data management with impeccable attention to detail, ensuring compliance and consistency in systems to produce reports for analysis, performance measurement and continuous improvement activities
  • Maintain high standard of customer service responding to enquiries and communications within established timeframes

The Successful Applicant

  • Demonstrated ability to gain and maintain an understanding, and comply with contractual requirements when delivering claims for payment services
  • Experience in an administrative hands-on role, including the competent use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs particularly excel
  • Previous experience in the use of Workforce Australia claims/attendance lodgements is highly regarded
  • Demonstrated high attention to detail, time management and coordination skills
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships and deliver high customer service
