An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Senior Job Coach to join the welcoming and supportive team in Townsville.

The role

Bring your leadership skills and DES knowledge to this Senior Job Coach role to the Townsville DES team (full time contract through to 30/06/2025 with view to extend). This position will be assisting with leading a team as well as keeping your Job Coach skills up to scratch managing a small case load of clients.

Responsibilities

• Managing a small caseload clients
• Assist with leading and supporting a team of Job Coaches to successfully achieve KPI's and support their clients into successful and meaningful employment
• Be a reference point for the Job Coaches for those tricky DES questions
• Utilise your relationship building skills to create and maintain meaningful working partnerships
• Ensure all relevant data is captured for DES Compliance and Guideline adherence
• Ensure all tracking and compliance is met by the Employment team

The Successful Applicant

• You have current and relevant experience in the DES sector and understand the role of a Job Coach intimately
• You have amazing knowledge of DES and are confident to support other Job Coaches in their role
• Proven experience in a leadership role
• You have the ability to motivate and encourage a team to support their clients into success
• You hold or have the ability to hold a Blue Card
