Retail Sales Coordinator

St Kilda Gatehouse

Our Organisation

St Kilda Gatehouse is a not-for-profit organisation which began as an outreach service working with street sex workers in St Kilda experiencing hardship. Since 1992 the organisation has built its relational model around community development, compassion, and social justice.

St Kilda Gatehouse provides space where individuals feel valued and important. We achieve our mission through the delivery of four programs. Our Drop In is an open access centre offering crisis support, holistic care, and referrals for those experiencing hardship.

In 2015 St Kilda Gatehouse established the Young Women’s Project that exists to support girls and young women between the ages of 12 to 24 who are at risk of or affected by child sexual exploitation. In 2017 Greeves St Social Enterprises and Op Shop opened its doors to provide opportunities for volunteerism, skills development, and social inclusion for the women we support as well as developing an income stream for the programs we run. In 2018 ARISE was developed and continues to deliver professional development in the community sector. These projects help St Kilda Gatehouse achieve its vision and is a place of respect, empowerment and hope for those who seek support.
