Key Duties
HR Duties
- Support and advise the COO on organisation wide people related matters, initiatives and change management activities
- Development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
- Provide high-level support, advice and coaching to the Executive team, managers and staff in relation to HR and industrial relations matters
- Ensure HR & Safety policies and procedures are updated and reviewed regularly to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
- Oversite and compliance of the HRIS
- Oversee the HR operations by supporting managers in the preparation of job descriptions, attracting candidates, participate in interviews and managing the hiring process including preparing employment agreements, onboarding, induction and offboarding
- Contribute to the training and development of staff across the organization, including succession planning and talent management as well as oversight of TLaWC’s training budget
- Manage the performance appraisal, development planning and salary review process
- Provide advice to payroll and managers on award and NES interpretation
- Support the development and implementation health and wellness initiatives
- Contribute to and lead people related change management
WHS
- Manage the RTW and WorkCover process
- Support managers in the training and development of their team and manage the training budget
- Support the OHS Officer in all safety related matters
- Lead and support implementation of an effective OHSMS through allocation of required resources. Direct and support employees to contribute to the effectiveness of OHSMS.
- Other duties as required
Role Requirements
- Long periods of time spent sedentary at a desk
- Reasonable level of health and fitness required to perform the inherent requirements of the role
