Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Outreach Caseworker at Tennant Creek Womens Refuge Inc. As an Outreach Caseworker, you will be responsible for providing support, advocacy, and case management to women and children in need. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting assessments, developing safety plans, coordinating referrals to appropriate services, providing crisis intervention, and offering emotional support.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in social work and case management
• Knowledge of casework principles and best practices
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Empathy and understanding towards individuals affected by domestic violence
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of community resources and support services
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Fluency in English
