The Anne Kantor Young Women Environmentalists Fellowship provides a unique opportunity to gain on-the-job training with environmental, climate change and nature conservation research or advocacy-based non-government organisations.
Fellows will develop a broad understanding of how research or advocacy-based non-government organisations work, learn how to turn ideas into impact and how public policy actually gets made in Australia to create a more just, sustainable and peaceful society.
Our aim is to provide our Fellows with a unique graduate-style program that provides on-the-job training to help equip and encourage new voices in Australia’s future policy and democratic debates.
Fellows will develop a broad understanding of how environmental, climate change and nature conservation research or advocacy-based non-government organisations work, learn how to turn ideas into impact and how public policy actually gets made in Australia to create a more just, sustainable and peaceful society.
Applicants must satisfy the following criteria:
Positions are full time for 12 months fixed-term (or part-time equivalent). Positions will be based in Canberra (1), Hobart (1) and Melbourne (1). The salary is $50,000 plus superannuation + $1,000 relocation allowance if relocating from interstate.
