The Beautiful Bunch is a Melbourne-based floral delivery service bringing joy through flowers and creating jobs for women from refugee backgrounds. We are a social enterprise, offering training and employment opportunities to young women who are experiencing challenges to finding employment. Our purpose is to support our trainees to build the confidence, skills, and social networks needed to find meaningful work and begin the path to achieving their dreams.

We are looking for someone to support with our Shopify website maintenance. The position is freelance/project based.

Key Tasks

• Customise Shopify themes and plugins to implement unique functionalities to support a same-day delivery service
• Explore and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance the user experience
• Work with our team to continue to optimise our website for speed and performance
• Debug and troubleshoot technical issues across various browsers and devices - ensure security and compliance standards are met
• Conduct testing to validate the impact of new apps and features
• Stay updated on the latest Shopify developments, trends, and best practices

Non-essential, but highly regarded:

• Experience with graphic design - Canva, Adobe Suite and InDesign
• Ability to create effective digital media content across multiple platforms, including social media and web
