As an integral part of our small, collaborative team, The Senior Management Accountant at EQI will ensure the accuracy, analysis, and reporting of our financial activities to enable effective decision-making. Working closely with our Co-CEO and management team, you will optimise systems and processes, providing specialised financial support across the organisation.
You will lead our annual budgeting process, ensuring meticulous quarterly re-forecasting and accurate cash flow forecasting. Your expertise will shine as you produce timely and precise monthly management reports, providing insightful financial summaries and variance analyses.
Your responsibilities will include managing diverse, and sometimes complex, project financials, budgeting, and compliance obligations, overseeing client invoicing, managing grant financial acquittals, and preparing project budgets. You will be instrumental in implementing enhanced internal control policies to manage risk and ensure compliance.
Your contribution will provide crucial support to EQI’s Strategic Plan and organisational goals, enabling effective decision-making and fostering financially sustainable and robust systems that underpins our global efforts to end violence against women and girls.
Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women and other marginalized folks tend to only apply when they check every box. So, if you think you have what it takes, but don't necessarily meet every single point on the job description, that’s okay, we would still love to review your application!
Women, people from First Nations, culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, LGBTQI+ people, and people with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
