About TLC for Kids

TLC for Kids is a children’s charity offering a range of services with tangible benefits to children, families, health care workers and the whole health and hospital system. Our services have evolved out of consultation with hospital staff to determine where the gaps are and what is really needed to support children in hospitals. We have developed practical and individualised support services to meet existing gaps in the sector.

Our driving force is to reach kids who don't meet the criteria of existing services. We provide emergency distraction kits to nurture the emotional well-being of kids undergoing medical treatment and other practical support to their families within 48 hours of the request being made.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, the role is to nurture the relationships of existing philanthropic and corporate partnerships and develop strategic growth within these relationships. Working with the Digital Marketing Coordinator on fundraising initiatives. Identify and develop event partnership opportunities and establish new philanthropic and corporate relationships. Fulfil all administrative duties relating to partnerships, campaigns and other aspects of the organisation, including, but not limited to Minute taking at meetings, preparation of reports and maintenance of workload.

You will be required to demonstrate initiative and work in accordance with the organisation’s office routines and procedures to meet the overall charity's objectives.

The position is ideal for someone with administration and customer service experience with a keen interest in fundraising. The role is also ideal for someone who is looking to get their foot in the door in the charity sector.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Provide highly polished, professional and accurate team administrative support.
  • Manage incoming communication and queries.
  • Assist with ensuring member and partner needs, expectations and satisfaction are proactively met and maintained including quality assurance standards.
  • Work closely with the CEO to create, foster and manage TLC for Kids Partnerships and Sponsors.
  • Provide associated reporting, documentation and analytics.
  • Support in the execution of the TLC for Kids coordinated partnership initiatives approved strategic partnership framework and associated processes.
  • Cultivate professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders while proactively maintaining existing relationships.
  • Assist with meeting arrangements, calendar and diary management for the team and related stakeholders and clients.
  • Contribute to revenue generation through the coordination of reporting and acquittal activities including tracking contractual deliverables, collecting data and reporting requirements.

Corporate and Philanthropic Relationship

  • Maintain and build upon existing partnerships and relationships with supporters
  • Explore new opportunities to increase the number of partnerships
  • Ensure all details are up to date in our CRM (Salesforce)
  • Develop a schedule of updates and engagement opportunities with partners
  • Coordinate and action requirements from partners and supporters (presentations, updates, meetings)
  • Delivery of post-campaign reporting

Campaign Support

  • Work on existing campaigns and further develop fundraising opportunities in collaboration with the team and the Digital Marketing Coordinator
  • Attend partner meetings, fundraising and networking events

Administration

  • You will be responsible for helping keep the team running by managing day to day administration, and coordinating and implementing key elements of TLC for Kids’ campaigns.
  • General admin support, including all associated filing and data input into Salesforce to ensure all records and details are up to date
  • Minute taking at meetings and Board Meetings
  • Preparation of reports

About you:

We are looking for a confident, collaborative person with experience in administration and client engagement.

  • Proven administration and/or customer service experience
  • Experience using CRM database (Salesforce desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with shifting and short deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement
  • Experience using Zapier and Asana (or similar)
  • Experience with G-suite programs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines
